About membership plans

The questions that come up most

What is a dental membership plan?

A subscription directly with your dental practice. Members pay a monthly or annual fee and get their preventive care included, plus savings on other treatment. There is no middleman involved.

How much does it cost?

Every practice designs and prices its own plan. On average across the Clerri platform, patients pay about $30 per month or $360 per year for preventive care including cleanings, exams, X-rays, fluoride, and an emergency visit, and save 10% to 25% on other procedures.

Can I add my family?

Yes. Most plans offer a 5% to 10% discount for adding additional family members.

How do I sign up?

From any device, in about 1 to 2 minutes. If you have your dentist's practice code, you can sign up with it here. If not, request your dentist's code.

Is this dental insurance?

No. Membership plans are not insurance. A membership plan is a direct agreement between you and your dental practice.

Who do I contact with questions about my plan?

For questions about your plan's pricing, benefits, cancellations, or refunds, your dental office is the best contact, since they run the plan. For help with your Patient Portal or billing, Clerri member support is bilingual and available by phone, email, and chat: 1-877-545-4188 or [email protected].

Billing, renewals, and account help

How do I get help logging in to my membership plan account?

To access the Patient Portal (Kleer), go to member.kleer.com and enter your username (email address) and password. If you do not remember your password or have not created one, click "Forgot Password" to receive an email with instructions on how to create a new one.

If you do not receive an email, it likely means that email address has not been set up as a user. Contact your dental practice to verify which email address they have on file for your membership plan, or contact us for further assistance.

How do I request a refund?

If you need a refund for any reason regarding your membership plan, please contact your dentist's office directly. Clerri is the platform that powers your dentist's membership plan; however, all decisions regarding the plan, including cancellations and refunds if needed, are made by them.

Why did my plan renew without me knowing?

If your membership plan was recently renewed and you were not aware, contact your dentist's office directly. Clerri is a platform that powers your dentist's membership plan; however, all decisions regarding the plan, including cancellations and refunds if necessary, are made by your dentist.

Can I get a receipt for a membership plan and paper invoices mailed?

You can print a receipt by logging into your Patient Portal and clicking the “Payment” tab. In the “Payment History” section, a green “Print Receipt” button will appear to the right for easy printing.

Your dental office can also provide a printed receipt upon request.

Clerri does not send paper invoices or statements. To view your payment history, log in to your Patient Portal and navigate to the “Payment” tab to access all payment details.

How do I update a credit card?

You can update your credit card on file through your Patient Portal. Within the “Payment” tab, there is a section labeled “Payment Method.” There is a green “Edit” button next to your current card on file. This will allow you to edit all billing information. Don’t forget to double-check the card numbers before saving! If you need further assistance, please contact your dental practice or us.

Can I pay off a membership plan balance?

Yes! You can pay off your remaining membership plan balance through your Patient Portal. In the “Payment” tab, there is a section labeled “Upcoming Payments.” On the far right of this section, you will find a green “Pay Off Remaining Balance” button.

You can also contact your dental office or Clerri for assistance if needed.

Please note: This payment option applies only to the balance of your membership plan. For any other outstanding payments, contact your dental office directly.

Can I transfer a membership plan to another dentist?

A membership plan is offered directly through your dentist and is non-transferable. If you purchased your plan with a dental group that has multiple locations, contact your dentist's office directly to see whether you can use the plan at their other locations.

Can I add other family members to a membership plan?

Yes, you can purchase care plans for anyone in your family. Log in to your Patient Portal, add family members to your account, and then select the care plans that best meet each family member’s needs.

Many dental offices offer additional discounts when adding family members. If available, these discounts will be applied automatically at checkout. If you need help logging into your Patient Portal, contact us for assistance.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

Reschedule your appointment directly through your dentist’s office and address any potential fees with them. Please refer to your dental office’s policy regarding no-shows and cancellations.

What is the refund and cancellation policy for membership plans?

Any cancellations and refund requests are handled directly by your dental office. Clerri does not process cancellation requests. You are eligible to request a cancellation and receive a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase if you have not used any of the plan benefits. If it has been more than 30 days since the initial purchase, or if any plan benefits have been used, the cancellation and refund amount will be at the discretion of your dental office.

How do I schedule or cancel a visit with a dental practice?

Contact your dental office directly to schedule or cancel any appointments. All scheduling and cancellations are managed by your dental provider, not through Clerri.

What if I do not want to renew a membership plan?

If you do not wish to renew your membership plan after the initial 12-month subscription, log in to the Patient Portal and update your account settings. Once logged in, click “Account” on the left-hand side, scroll down to “Settings,” and uncheck the box for auto-renewal. The settings will save automatically.

If you receive a notification that your plan has already renewed and you wish to cancel, contact your dental office directly to discuss cancellation.

What should I do if I received a notification about issues with a membership plan account?

If you receive a notification about an issue with your account, it likely means there was a problem processing your payment. Log into the Patient Portal at member.clerri.com using your email address and password.

If you have not set up your account or have forgotten your password, click “Forgot Password” to receive an email and create a new password.

Once logged in, you can view detailed account messages and update any necessary information.

Can I change my monthly billing date?

The date your monthly bill is processed cannot be changed. Billing occurs on the same date each month based on your original sign-up date. For example, if you sign up on August 8th, you will be billed on the 8th of each subsequent month if you choose the monthly payment option.

How do I cancel a membership plan?

To cancel a membership plan, contact your dental office directly and request the cancellation. Your dental practice is responsible for managing the membership plan and can process cancellations and issue refunds if necessary.

Clerri is the platform that powers your dental office’s membership plan, but does not handle cancellation or refund requests. Your dental office handles all plan management.
